FINE ART

The main difference between fine art and visual art is that fine art is a broad category of art that involves work created for aesthetic value and beauty rather than functional value; while visual arts are art forms that are primarily visual in nature.

The classical interpretation of the term "fine art" translates from the French “beaux arts”, meaning delicate, excellent, and finely made.

Some of the artists we are so very proud here at Gallery X we are so proud of the artists we are able to display and tell the stories & lives they had through every piece of art we have for each individual artist. You can find biographical descriptions of each individual artist here:

"I think the role of an artist is, to put whatever they believe in or want to express to the world and show it in a visual way in whatever form that is visually, through paint, sculptures or now in modern day, digitally.

There are two definitive languages in this world, verbal, which separates us from one another... and visual, that is understood by everyone.

Fine art is so important in today's society because it is literally visual knowledge."
